I am Brek Lancaster, originally from Jackson, Tennessee. I started playing guitar at age 12. Since then I have studied, rehearsed or performed guitar in some form or capacity. Studies include Music Theory, Literature, Composition, Ear Training, Piano with emphasis Classical, Jazz, Rock, Blues.
In addition I have worked with a number of acoustic/electric original and cover bands in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. This includes performing in many of the DFW venues and recording is some of the best studios around.
Lessons
Location/Days: Lessons are held in Grapevine Tuesday though Saturday, or lessons can be scheduled in Dallas.
Skill Level Required: Lessons are given to Beginnner, Intermediate, and Advanced students.
Styles Taught: Rock, Classical, Jazz, Blues.
Guitar Teaching Method: Lessons are formed around your goals for learning, whether it be solo or with a group. Teaching by ear is the preferred method, with supplemental tablature and recordings, as well as sight reading sheet music.
